Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toniz Collins is also referred to as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins within the United States and Mexico, is a Mexican-American sportscaster. Her current role is working as a sportscaster at ESPN and is an anchor of SportsCenter as well as hosting SportsNation. She joined ESPN as a news anchor in 2016. She is the daughter television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins has been bi-lingual since nine years old, a valuable skill that helped her secure her first job in the production department with Univision in Miami and provided her with the opportunity to work with the producers of National programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. In 2009, the CBS affiliate located in St. Petersburg hired her in the following year as the sports reporter. In 2009, she moved into Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist at KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. In 2009 she made the move into Rio Grande Valley, Texas, where she became a reporter for KNVO 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. Also, she was often requested to be an anchor for weather and sports. Deportes 23 in Dallas, Univision's station affiliated with Dallas. She was also given more accountability. She produced pieces about Major League Baseball's ALDS ALCS and World Series the Dallas Cowboys the NBA postseason and the NBA Finals FC Dallas and the Dallas Stars. She produced Univision 23 Accion Deportiva Extra and was the anchor. She was appointed as the anchor of the sports program by Despierta America Deportes for their morning program. It was the same role for Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo on the UniMas Network. Antonietta Collin's parents originally hail from Veracruz Mexico. Her birth date was November 22nd, 1985 in Mexico City. She has an elder sister. She is the older sister. In the course of a few months, her father separated from her mother. She then remarried in 1995 a naval architect whose name was Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away from kidney cancer in the year 2006. She stayed at Canton Ohio with her older sister during the summer and was provided with an opportunity to work. Antonietta was a senior in high school with an idea of what she would like her life to be like, visited Mount Union University to see whether the university was suitable for her. She discovered that she liked the campus, and the university had the program she desired. Her high school graduation was in the spring of 2004 and began studying media at the University. Mark Bergmann, her professor who also managed the WRMU's 91.1FM station where she worked for many years, became her friend. He encouraged her to have confidence and also his love for journalism deeply affected her. She, determined to fulfill the expectations of him and not failed him.
